Title: Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: Redmond, WA

Work schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. The initial 2-week training is in person at the Hopelink Redmond worksite. After training, hybrid with some in-person and some remote schedule options available (Tuesdays and Thursday are required on site). Some flexibility on determining schedule.

The career opportunity:

The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable process while maintaining positive vendor and Hopelink staff relationships. The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator is a critical role; they have responsibility for accurately and timely processing AP and the payment of vendors while maintaining stewardship over Hopelink assets.

  • 3+ years accounts payable experience.
  • Comfortable working with and learning technology, software, or new applications; Intermediate ability using Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience using Sage Fund Accounting, Microix, MIP software or other non-profit software is a plus
  • Experience with high volume data processing & input with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience using ADP payroll processing and reporting is preferred.
  • Background in working with General Ledgers and Accounts Reconciliations is desired.
  • Must pass background check, or other requirements: personal vehicle, driver’s license


Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Follows procedures for A/P processing, AP aging, payment generation, and reporting activities according to specific guidelines.
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation /approval and coding
  • Investigates and resolves A/P-related irregularities and/or queries.
  • Handles all check disbursements, ACH payments, and some tax related matters.
  • Reviews employee’s corporate credit card statements to ensure that receipts are turned in and accounted for properly.
  • Works with accuracy and attention to details to meet deadlines.
  • Creates and maintains records, reports, and statistics in an organized fashion.
  • Prepares assigned journal vouchers and assigned general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Maintains Administration of Petty Cash Account.
  • Assists with requests for annual audit.
  • Serves as an occasional backup for payroll processing.

  • Compensation:
    $28 - $31/hour
  • Up to 10 paid vacation and sick days annually and 10 paid holidays,
  • Plus up to 7 paid float days available to use immediately; dependent on hire date and hours/week
