Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming invoices are processed accurately, vendor payments are made on time, and financial records are maintained properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and enter incoming vendor invoices and employee expense reports into the accounting system.
• Payment Preparation: Prepare check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers, ensuring timely payment to vendors.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
• Vendor Management: Act as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment status, acting with professionalism.
• Compliance: Ensure proper coding of expenses to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, organized digital and physical records of financial transactions.
• Month-End Support: Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in an AP or finance role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Invoice processing accuracy rate.
• Timeliness of payments (avoiding late fees).
• Reduction in outstanding vendor discrepancies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
