Accounts Payable Assistant

Miramac Metals, Inc., a growing manufacturer of building materials, is seeking a talented and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. This is a key position where you will play an integral role in the company’s growth and support our day-to-day activities. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about achieving team and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate billing and payment entries.
  • Properly code expenses in QuickBooks.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal team members to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Manage the company Accounts Payable (AP) email inbox.
  • Maintain the company Work Order process.
  • Provide backup support to the Accounts Receivable Assistant (customer invoicing) and Credit Management.
  • Assist staff members with various projects and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-year Accounting Degree.
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and time effectively.
  • Competence with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
