We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Assistant who thrives in precision, moves fast without sacrificing accuracy, and keeps the financial heartbeat of our projects running clean and steady.

When you’re building multimillion-dollar custom homes, the numbers must be flawless. You’re the financial gatekeeper who keeps invoices accurate, vendors paid, and job costs aligned. When AP runs smoothly, the entire company runs smoother — and you’re the reason it does.

What You’ll Do

• Process 1,000+ AP items monthly with accuracy and speed
• Match invoices to POs and contracts and code them correctly
• Maintain clean AP data in QuickBooks Online and Buildertrend
• Keep approval workflows moving and prevent bottlenecks
• Run weekly payments and maintain complete vendor files
• Reconcile credit cards and support month-end close
• Resolve discrepancies before they become delays
• Partner with PMs and Superintendents to gather missing documentation

What You Bring

• 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting support, or bookkeeping experience
• You keep high-volume AP work tight, accurate, and drama-free
• QuickBooks Online and Excel are second nature
• You stay organized under pressure and maintain precision
• Clear, professional communication with vendors and teammates
• You spot errors fast and fix them faster
• You bring enthusiasm, positivity, and steady energy
• You improve processes, not just follow them
• Experience with construction accounting, Buildertrend, or job costing is a strong plus

What Success Looks Like

• AP is processed accurately, on schedule, and without rework
• Vendor payments are timely, predictable, and aligned with terms
• Job costing is clean, reliable, and trusted by leadership
• Documentation is organized, complete, and audit-ready at all times
• Issues are resolved proactively before they impact project teams
• Communication with vendors and internal teams is clear, timely, and professional
• Workflow efficiency improves because of your consistency and follow-through
