We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the smooth operation of a dynamic aviation-focused business.

Position Summary

The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting and finance functions of the company by assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, reconciliations, reporting, and general administrative accounting tasks. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable invoices and prepare payments.
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices.
  • Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
  • Assist with accounts receivable collections and follow-up.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
  • Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets and reports as requested.
  • Respond to vendor and customer accounting inquiries.
  • Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Perform general administrative duties related to accounting and finance.

Qualifications Required

  • Quick Books experience.
  • 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative finance experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred

  • Experience in aviation, transportation, or service-based industries.
