Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Clearwater, FL (Fully Onsite)

Compensation: $23/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)


Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to build a foundation in accounting and accounts payable. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting Support, Data Entry, Administrative Support, or a related office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and procedures quickly
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
    • Review invoices for completeness and proper documentation
    • Assist with invoice coding and matching supporting documentation
    • Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records
    • Support vendor account maintenance and assist with payment inquiries
    • Assist with accounts payable reporting and data entry tasks
    • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
    • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
    • Assist with month-end accounting activities and reconciliations
