Accounts Payable Member – Automotive Dealership

A busy, growth-oriented automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Accounting Staff Member. The ideal candidate has prior automotive accounting experience and will help maintain accurate financial records while providing analytical support across Customer Deposits, Accounts Payable, and general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and reconcile Accounts Payable billings accurately and on time each month.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of corporate credit card accounts.
• Process A/P disbursements (checks) for all vendors/customers.
• Remit and reconcile ancillary policies monthly.
• Process customer refunds.
• Assist the Controller with ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Prior experience in the automotive accounting.
• Strong knowledge of office procedures, responsibilities, and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; overall MS Office skills.
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Professional discretion with confidential information.
• Prompt, courteous communication; strong written and verbal skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to complete and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
