Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic organization that values precision, efficiency, and financial integrity. This is a 3-month temporary position

Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Schedule, prepare, and process payments while tracking discounts and payment terms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Assist with month-end closing and support internal audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Adaptable to new technology and procedures

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
