Accounts Payable Manager

As the AP Manager, you aren't just managing invoices; you are the guardian of our vendor relationships and the architect of our cash-outflow strategy. You will ensure that our supply chain remains seamless and our financial reputation remains impeccable.

Your Mission

• Workflow Leadership: Oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable, from invoice capture and 3-way matching to final payment execution.
• Vendor Diplomacy: Act as the key point of contact for local and international suppliers, ensuring timely resolutions and professional communication.
• Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the Treasury team to forecast cash requirements and optimize payment timing.
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure all payments align with Qatari tax laws, including proper withholding tax application and VAT compliance.
• Audit Readiness: Maintain a pristine digital and physical filing system, leading the way during internal and external audit cycles.
• Process Transformation: Champion the transition toward paperless invoicing and automated approval workflows.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 7+ years in Finance/Accounting, with at least 3 years specifically leading an AP department. Experience in a high-volume, multi-national environment is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Technical Edge: Mastery of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and a deep love for Excel shortcuts and data integrity.
• Communication: Fluent in English (Arabic is a significant plus) with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with a "firm but fair" approach.
• Local Savvy: Thorough understanding of Qatar’s banking systems (WPS) and commercial regulations.
