Pay Range: $59,000 - $85,000

Position Overview:

As part of our Finance Team, the Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Accounts Payable function for multiple entities within the Navico Group. This role provides strong leadership and partners closely with management and staff to design, implement, and sustain effective internal controls that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across Accounts Payable operations. The position also provides guidance and oversight of month‑end close activities, supporting affiliated companies as needed and driving consistency, continuous improvement, and best practices across the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Directly supervises and oversees the day-to-day operations of 2 Accounts Payable Specialists.
  • Coordinate all AP related tasks for our manufacturing facility in Ensenada and Tulsa facility which includes weekly payment runs.
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately and verify payment documentation.
  • Provide assistance regarding the proper coding of invoices and other procedural issues.
  • Manage daily operation of AP automation software and ERP, ensuring accurate invoice workflow and system functionality.
  • Act as backup for AP invoice and payment processing, including invoice entry, approvals, and disbursements.
  • Corresponds to inquiries from vendors and employees.
  • Review aged items and reconcile accordingly, including vendor credit balances and vouchers payable.
  • Complete all A/P-related bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, including necessary corrections.
  • Complete all A/P-related balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain Intercompany Accounts Payable accounts, report and confirm with other entities.
  • Application of prepaid inventory invoices to prepayments for both Ensenada and Tulsa.
  • Prepares weekly cash flow and previous week cash usage with commentary.
  • Process AP related month-end-close tasks including inventory and cash related journal entries.
  • Assist with other functional month-end closing tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize many projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to contribute to decision-making that affects corporate strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting at an accredited college and five years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • 5+ years experience in AP required
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple ERPs along with Basware/AP automation software
  • Previous SOX compliance experience

Add Pay Verbiage

The hiring range for this position is $59,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
