Accounts Payable – Part time

Shift: 7:00am-2:30pm Monday – Thursday

The company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Essential Functions

• Responsible for accounting functions including verifying and posting accounts payable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
• Process daily credit card receipts and monitor the credit card program travel expenses.
• Reconcile and post journal entries for credit card transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Closely monitor vendor accounts and take corrective action to keep accounts in good standing.
• Set up new accounts, process credit applications.
• Maintain w9 software and request certificates of insurance when necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
• Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
• 1-2 years previous Accounts payable experience required with an understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
• SAP Business 1 knowledge preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel required.
• Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.

Equipment/Machinery Used

• PC Computer and other office equipment.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Able to sit or stand for 5-8 hours at a time.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Primarily working in an office environment.
