Accounts Payable Specialist

Hartwood Foundation, Inc. a non-profit residential service provider for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities seeks a detailed oriented individual for the position of Accounts Payable Specialist. The Account Payable Specialist works closely with the Director of Financial and Business Services to ensure accuracy and compliance of all outgoing payments within Hartwood Foundation standards and IRS regulations. This individual must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be detail oriented and a team player.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Maintain invoices, expense vouchers and purchase order files.

- Review, record and process all operating expenses through Hartwood's PC based accounting system.

- Maintain rent records and process monthly rent timely.

- Maintain vendor accounts in AP module and keep files accurate.

- Reconcile Petty Cash Nooks and cut checks as needed and update petty cash ledgers to appropriate parties.

- Maintain invoices related to HUD houses and process to appropriate party for reimbursement.

- Provie operating reports and prepare budget estimates as needed/instructed by supervisor.

- Process credit card statements and maintain supporting documents.

- Review and record automatic (ACH) payment transactions in MS Dynamics SL.

- Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required:

- Associates degree in accounting or business related degree.

- 3 years Accounts Payable experience.

- Strong customer service skills, organized, attentive to details and be able to prioritize and multi-task.

- Experience with Microsoft Word Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Experience with MS Dynamics (preferred)

- Effective use of English language (written and oral)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
