Accounts Payable Specialist

Tarvos Talent is seeking a detail-oriented AP Specialist for an exciting contract opportunity with a growing organization in North Austin, TX This fully in-office role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative accounting team supporting a high-volume environment.

As the AP Specialist , you’ll play a key role in supporting the accounts payable process by reviewing and verifying invoices, entering data into internal systems, reconciling vendor accounts, and assisting with discrepancy resolution. You’ll collaborate closely with AP leadership and cross-functional teams while helping ensure invoices are properly documented, approved, and processed efficiently in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 1+ year(s) of accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and intermediate Excel skills. Experience working in fast-paced environments and a collaborative team mindset are essential, as this group works closely together to manage a large invoice volume. Experience with Great Plains or similar ERP systems is a plus, along with the flexibility to adapt as processes continue to evolve.
