Job Summary: As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Taskaler, you will focus on managing day-to-day A/C payable processes and playing a key role in the client’s reporting. Attention to detail is crucial, and you should be able to prioritize and plan your work effectively to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and manage the finance inbox daily, ensuring all emails are acknowledged and actioned promptly.
• Respond to internal and external finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Forward or escalate specific matters to the appropriate team member when required.
• Process vendor invoices & cross verify/allocate against the Purchase Orders
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues
• Carry out supplier statements reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Carry out bank reconciliations & intercompany account reconciliations as part of the regular closing cycle
• Support month-end closing activities related to payables
• Provide general administration/ad hoc support to the finance team
• Assist in developing and improving accounts payable process

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience in accounts payable or a related role
• Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software & Microsoft Excel
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end process
• Strong Attention to detail
• Displays a ‘growth mindset’ and has a strong desire to learn and improve
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across various work streams.
