Accounts Payable Specialist

Beacon Hill Financial is currently searching for a contract Accounts Payable Specialist for our global client in the Clayton, Missouri area. This position is paying up to $25/hr depending on experience. Essential Functions:

• Process high volume of vendor invoices mostly consisting of matching against purchase orders

• Work with established AP team members to ensure processing is accurate for assigned business divisions

• Communicate with appropriate team or department members to escalate invoicing issues

• Prepare and process payments, such as checks, electronic transfers, or ACH payments.

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.

• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices and payments are accounted for accurately

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
