Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organisation’s financial operations. Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices using various accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry of financial transactions into the organisation’s systems
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain organised records of all accounts payable transactions for audit purposes
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Support human resources functions related to supplier management and vendor onboarding
• Analyse accounts payable data to identify trends or potential issues and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills

• Proven experience with accounting software including QB and SAP
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies or anomalies
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices
• Familiarity with human resources functions related to vendor management is advantageous
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.52 - $30.74 per hour
