The Accounts Receivable Coordinator III provides vendors with accurate and timely payments and assists vendors with account questions.

This position will serve our Century A/C Division , located in Houston, TX .


  • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card)
  • Review and process credit applications for extension of credit lines and terms
  • Work with a reputable company to file preliminary liens and notices on contract jobs
  • Data entry
  • Make collection calls and/or create correspondence in a fast paced goal-oriented receivables department
  • Monitor, maintain, and reconcile customer accounts (e.g., customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write offs, etc.)
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Other Accounting tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 5+ years experience in accounts receivable

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.

  • Advance mathematical skills including the ability to calculate discounts and percentages.

  • Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Experience with Oracle accounting software preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS

  • Office Suite.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.

HOW TO STAND OUT:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field.

  • Experience with Oracle preferred.
