Accounts Payable Specialist

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20.50 – $22.50/hour

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support accounting operations across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, stays organized under deadlines, and enjoys solving problems behind the scenes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vendors are paid on time, records are accurate, and financial processes stay on track.

What You’ll Do

• Review, code, and process invoices across multiple properties
• Prepare and process payments (ACH, wires, and checks)
• Maintain accurate records and organize supporting documentation
• Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional relationships
• Partner with accounting team members to resolve issues and improve processes
• Assist with 1099 reporting and other compliance-related tasks

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Comfortable working with accounting systems (AppFolio or similar is a plus)
• Solid communication skills with both vendors and internal teams
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
