Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring financial accuracy across the organization.

Work Schedule & Location

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote

  • Training is conducted fully in-office for the first 4 weeks (5 days per week)

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests

  • Accurately enter and upload invoices into the accounts payable system

  • Prepare and issue timely payments via checks and electronic transfers

  • Maintain vendor profiles, including coding, tax, and banking information

  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve discrepancies

  • Support additional accounting tasks as needed

What You Bring

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Licensure/Certification

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required

Experience

  • 1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience

Preferred Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to learn new accounting systems

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and accountable
