Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and keeping financial details accurate across a multi-location operation.

You’ll support accounting for nearly 60 Eagle Stop convenience stores across Missouri. No two days are the same—one day you’re processing invoices and payments, the next you’re reconciling accounts or helping improve a process.

What You’ll Do

• Process vendor invoices and payments (check and ACH)
• Reconcile subledgers and research discrepancies
• Post journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Communicate with vendors and store teams to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records and support reporting
• Assist with process improvements and special projects

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Strong Excel, math, typing, and 10-key skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Experience with PDI software is a plus (training available)

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
