Accounts Payable Specialist

Our Accounting team is looking for an experienced A/P associate. This is someone who is organized and can effectively communicate with coworkers and managers. They are able to work independently, staying on task, while also contributing to team goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Daily batch review of invoices within point-of-sale software
• Work with accounting and point-of-sale software packages
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Code and entry of vendor invoices not included in point-of-sale batches
• Process timely payment of all vendor invoices
• Identify vendors for payment and produce weekly checks
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, location managers and vendors regarding discrepancies within reconciliations and escalate when appropriate

Education and Experience Requirement

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with accounting software, Quickbooks preferred
• While we will offer on-the-job training, preference is for at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Technology savvy with demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Organized, detailed-oriented, multi-tasker who can work in a fast-paced, energetic environment

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
