Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume invoice processing and financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoice entry, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate has strong SAP experience, solid accounting fundamentals, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
AS AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST, YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAVE THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and process invoices for goods and services
Verify transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures
Accurately post PO-backed and non-PO invoices in a timely manner
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
Research and resolve uncashed checks
Support manual check processing as needed
Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing issues
Develop a working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU’LL NEED EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:
Experience with accounts payable data entry in SAP or similar ERP systems
Understanding of accounting principles related to AP transactions and financial reporting impact
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
Good time management and task prioritization skills
Ability to identify and resolve basic issues independently
Clear communication skills with internal teams and external partners
Ability to follow company policies and processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or associate degree
3 or more years of SAP Accounts Payable experience
Experience with SAP Purchasing module
Intermediate Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and data

Work Environment
On-site, 5 days per week in Dallas
High-volume, transactional environment requiring strong focus and accuracy
Pay: up to $25.00 per hour
