Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where precision matters.

What You'll Do

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
• Support accounting team initiatives and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, filtering, and basic formulas
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
