Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. Duties

• Process and verify all accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, approval workflows, and vendor payments using QuickBooks.
• Manage accounts receivable activities by invoicing customers, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on overdue payments with professionalism and tact.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Collect and track construction lien releases
• Conduct account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Assist in creating contracts.
• Tracking and reviewing contractor insurance certificates.
• Process payroll.
• Perform data entry with high accuracy using 10-key typing skills while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable functions within a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software including QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with payroll management systems such as T-Sheets or Quickbooks is highly desirable.
• Experience working in Construction industry is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills is a must.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
