Accounts & Payroll Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts & Payroll Specialist to take ownership of payroll operations and financial reporting support. The role requires someone with exceptional command of Microsoft Excel — far beyond average use. You must be able to build and audit complex formulas, automate workflows, design dynamic reports, and analyze large datasets with speed and accuracy. Applicants with an ACCA or BBA qualification from a reputable institution will be highly preferred, as this reflects both technical knowledge and academic rigor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll records, reports, and payments with precision.
  • Maintain and update employee compensation, deductions, and benefits data.
  • Support month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Generate advanced Excel-based dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • ACCA or BBA (Accounting/Finance specialization preferred).
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, data modeling, advanced formulas, automation).
  • Proven experience handling payroll operations with accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
