We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team.

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and proper reconciliation of receivables, bank transfers, aggregators, and credit card transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with branches, and daily financial monitoring to maintain accuracy and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily credit transfers are accurately balanced with Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions on a daily basis
• Perform daily transaction-wise reconciliation for aggregators with POS systems
• Monitor aggregator commissions and ensure no excess charges or violations of cancellation terms
• Coordinate with branches for daily sales reconciliation
• Prepare daily cash inflow vs. sales reports for management review
• Prepare and review catering invoices in line with quoted rates and supporting documents; follow up on payments
• Ensure all invoices and related documentation are properly filed and archived
• Prepare and dispatch Statements of Account to trade debtors at month-end or post-events
• Follow up on missing documents with relevant departments promptly
• Report billing, rate, or invoice discrepancies to the Finance Supervisor
• Open debtor accounts upon receipt of signed contracts from Sales/Marketing
• Prepare pro-forma invoices and advance payment schedules for non-credit customers
• Maintain advance deposit accounts and ensure timely allocation to receivables
• Allocate and set off payments accurately in the QuickBooks AR system
• Prepare AR journals for revenue adjustments, bank charges, and credit card commissions (subject to review and approval)
• Conduct daily collection follow-ups and escalate overdue accounts
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role (F&B or Hospitality industry preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is essential)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Foodics, Odoo, Micros, or similar accounting/POS systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Food & Beverage: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License (Required)
