Accounts Receivable

Job Summary:  The accounts receivable clerk posts all payments received daily. This person interfaces with customers, drivers, sales personnel, and supervisors in order to assure accurate receivable information.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Posts all monies received on current invoices or on account



  • Documents credit terms



  • Communications with customers, drivers, sales personnel, and supervisors daily



  • Processes returned checks with appropriate follow-up documentation and posting



Additional Responsibilities:

  • Research past due accounts



  • Verifies trade references for credit approval



  • Documents bankruptcies and proof of claim



Required Skills/Abilities: 

The job requires general office knowledge with an emphasis on accounts receivable processing. Must be well organized, detail oriented with good basic math skills. This position requires a person who is proficient in the use of a 10 key calculator. This person must possess good communication, telephone, and customer service skills. Must be able to work under pressure meeting required deadlines. Must have good customer service skills and communication. Must present themselves in a professional, neat, and clean manner always. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language as well as the ability to produce quality materials within accepted timeframes. A valid Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. The ability to sit, stand, and walk is required as well as minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.



Education and Experience:

High School Diploma and bachelor’s degree required; 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience required.
