Accounts Receivable Accountant- 3 Months Contract

Role - Accounts Receivable Accountant

Contract - 3 Months Extendable

Type - Contract

Salary - 4500 AED

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and timely entry into accounting systems
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to verify accuracy
  • Prepare and schedule vendor payments (cheques, bank transfers, etc.)
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
  • Support internal audits and compliance checks
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and documentation
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
