ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Process incoming payments and post to accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classing, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data in LMS (Lodging Management System).
Perform billing responsibilities and issue invoices for assigned accounts.
Respond to and resolve guest and client billing issues in a positive and professional manner.
Perform collections activities on past-due accounts by contacting clients by email and phone.
Process commissions and prepare disbursements to travel agencies.
Generate aging and other reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Data entry and excellent knowledge of Excel.
Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workload demands.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: clerical, analyzing, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prior Accounts Receivable experience is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, and crouching during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to frequently lift/carry 10lbs or less.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require occasional light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work performed indoors, frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment.
