Job Summary:

Pine State is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist with a focus on Accounts Receivable functions.

The Accounting Specialist is a crucial member of the Finance team and plays a key role in managing the cash flow of the organization, posting incoming payments, posting financial transactions, completing deposits, and generating relevant reports. The successful candidate will enjoy working with numbers, will be organized and detail oriented, enjoy the satisfaction of solving administrative puzzles, and possess a thorough knowledge of established accounting principles and their application to business operations and accounting systems. The ideal candidate will be of high integrity and ethics, confident in analyzing data and situations, collaborative in working with employees from other teams to identify and resolve issues, and in making decisions based on the findings of research completed.

Position requirements:

Pine State is seeking someone that has 3+ years of experience in administration, billing, and/or accounting, strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
