Job Summary
We are urgently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Project Accounting, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice entry, vendor management, collection and payment processing
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation
- Accounting Processes, reconciliation of bank statements, JE, financial reports
- Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with State, Federal, and company policies and regulations
- Support project accounting, including job costing, budget tracking, and reporting
- Reconcile accounts and prepare month-end journal entries
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits, reporting, and other accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in AR, payroll, and project accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Paychex software
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and account analysis tasks.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately using 10 key typing skills; attention to detail is essential.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective phone etiquette for collections calls.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
