Objective:
To supervise and control the day-to-day accounting and back-office operations of the Company by ensuring accurate financial recording, effective reconciliation processes, compliance with internal policies, and timely financial reporting. The role supports the Manager – Financial Controller / Head of Finance in maintaining financial discipline, operational efficiency, and strong internal controls

Key Routine Tasks:

Supervise daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and cash management activities.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

Prepare reconciliations for bank, cash, and balance sheet accounts.

Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.
-
Supervise back-office financial processing and operational workflows.
-
Ensure custody and safeguarding of financial records and authorized transactions.

Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation.

Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Allocate tasks and supervise performance of accounts and support staff.

Ensure timely provision of accounting support services to internal departments.

Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reconciliation, and reporting.

Prior supervisory experience in accounts or finance operations preferred.

Exposure to audit processes and internal control environments is desirable.

Experience in financial services or structured back-office environments is an advantage.
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.

Professional certification (ACCA / CPA / CMA or equivalent) preferred.
