Accounts & Taxation Officer (ATC)

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts & Taxation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and supporting audit and reporting processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers accurately.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in audit preparations and coordinate with auditors.
• Keep track of tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Handle correspondence with tax authorities and resolve related queries.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial and tax records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Gluon ERP) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, Income Tax Act, and other relevant laws.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
