Accounts Team lead

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage key accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and year-end closures. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage profit and loss (P&L) statements and reports.
• Oversee and finalize financial year-end closures.
• Handle tax compliance, including VAT submissions and filing.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for audits and financial queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in P&L reporting, tax compliance, and financial closures.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of VAT and tax regulations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
