Job Description: Accoutant/Internal Auditor

Responsible for accounts and executing internal audit assignments as part of the overall audit plan for the salon and trading business. The role covers operational processes in salon services, retail/trading activities, inventory management, financial transactions, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across salon branches and trading operations in line with the approved audit plan.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over daily salon operations (appointments, cash handling, POS systems), inventory, procurement, and trading activities.
• Assess compliance with company policies, local regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements relevant to salon services and retail operations.
• Review financial processes, including revenue recognition, expense management, and stock reconciliation.
• Evaluate IT systems used for bookings, sales tracking, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Develop audit programs and testing procedures based on identified risks and operational priorities.
• Document business processes clearly, identifying gaps and recommending practical improvements.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding audit issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Support the development of the annual internal audit plan and contribute to periodic reporting to management.
• Promote a culture of internal control, accountability, and operational efficiency across salon and trading teams.
• Leadership ability to guide junior team members when required.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proactive approach to identifying improvements and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing or related field
• Strong academic credentia l
• 2 -3 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, or any related field in Qatar
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
