In addition to the short description provided the role means that you would be the primary contact to the Accreditation or Certification Body ensuring professional liaison to maintain a positive business relationship and be the face of UL to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary contact to the Accreditation or Certification Body.
  • Support senior staff in the Management of Credentials (accreditation/certification).
  • Support and co-ordinate Internal and External Accreditors, Regulators, and Scheme Audits.
  • When required, facilitate resolution of customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Support staff in understanding of the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process.
  • Participate and provide inputs for Quality & Regulatory Compliance owned processes (CAR, Internal Compliance Assessments and External Assessments), when requested for Management Review, per applicable standard requirements.
  • Support in assessing Management System compliance, including control of documentation and records, via the Internal Compliance Assessments Process.
  • Maintain oversight of the management system implemented.
  • Collects data from a variety of sources and creates reports based on supervisor direction. May also analyse workflow and data to recommend improvements.
  • Support capacity for improvements, management review, risks etc.


Day to Day activities (examples):

  • Organise and facilitate assessments
  • Act as the host for an (onsite) assessment; organise rooms, refreshments, personnel to be involved
  • Work with the Customer Operating Unit (COU) to collect information regarding accreditor/regulator applications
  • Support the Accreditation Manager with internal and external assessments
  • Support/guide a process owner in document compilation
  • Data analysis and report compilation

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint.
  • Basic knowledge of UL mission and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, to present and facilitate discussions of any non-conformances raised.
  • Working knowledge of an audit function (planning, execution and delivery).
  • Professional communication ability.
  • Fluent in Turkish and good level of English language (verbal and written).
  • Based in Turkiye with active social security registration.
