The Associate Cost & Management Accountant (ACMA) will be responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis to ensure effective financial decision-making. The role involves preparing management reports, analyzing variances, and providing insights for cost efficiency and profitability improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to support management decisions.
- Prepare and maintain management accounts, MIS reports, and cost sheets.
- Support in the development and implementation of costing models, standard costing, and pricing strategies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial data and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze inventory costing, overhead allocation, and product costing.
- Support the Finance Manager in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and record-keeping in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualification: ACMA (Associate Cost & Management Accountant) from ICMA Pakistan (or equivalent).
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in cost & management accounting, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or service industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of costing methods, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
