Foulger Pratt Companies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated Analyst to join the newly formed Multifamily Acquisitions team in the Salt Lake City metro area (Draper, Utah). The Analyst will work directly with senior management and company leadership on all aspects of acquisitions such as sourcing, underwriting, financial analysis, due diligence, financing, third-party relations, and marketing materials. This position offers the unique opportunity to have direct exposure to critical aspects of real estate including acquisitions, financing, dispositions, and management. Strong organizational skills, a high degree of problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments are required.

Foulger Pratt Companies, a leading real estate investment and development firm, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join our Multifamily Acquisitions team at our offices in the Salt Lake City metro area (Draper, Utah). The Analyst will work directly with senior management on all aspects of the acquisitions process. Work and responsibilities include:
  • Conducting detailed analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and providing investment recommendations.
  • Preparing and presenting investment memoranda to Investment Committee and investors.
  • Coordinating with asset management and construction management teams to ensure successful execution of investment strategies.
  • Maintaining and updating excel-based models (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modeling).
  • Working with senior team members to negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and other legal documents with third parties.
  • Building and nurturing third-party relationships with brokers, owners, management companies, vendors, consultants, etc.
  • Analyzing the overall market and monitoring industry trends.
  • Aiding in all transaction management efforts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Real Estate or Accounting concentration preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Real Estate, Private Equity or Investment Banking preferred.
  • Candidates should be entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a variety of teams.
  • Exceptional proficiency with Excel; very strong attention to detail, proven accuracy of financial modeling, and comprehension of complex analyses.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and accountability.
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
