The M&A Analyst supports the evaluation and execution of strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities. The role requires advanced financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence to help guide leadership in high-impact decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, including P&L analysis, valuation, cash flow projections, and ROI calculations.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify high-value acquisition opportunities.
- Support due diligence processes, working alongside external advisors, legal teams, and internal departments.
- Review operational performance and working capital history of potential acquisition targets.
- Prepare internal investment memorandums, business cases, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist in post-acquisition integration planning and performance tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Strategy departments.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: CA/ACCA/CMA-Finalist, Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in M&A, financial analysis, consulting, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with due diligence or corporate transactions preferred.
