The Bible Acquisitions team at Tyndale House Publishers plays a critical role in publishing and disseminating God’s Word around the world, increasing Bible use, and innovating Bible engagement. We are a mission-driven, collaborative, and impact-focused group, passionate about advancing God’s Kingdom through Scripture. Our work centers on serving the global church through the development of meaningful, innovative Bible products. The Acquisitions Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Bible Acquisitions team. You’ll help acquire and develop impactful Bible projects, coordinate content development, manage schedules and data, and collaborate with authors and internal teams to bring meaningful resources to market.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Bible Acquisitions Directors and Bible Publisher in acquiring and developing authors and titles that inspire engagement with God’s Word.
  • Coordinate the planning and tracking of Bible publishing projects, schedules, and approvals.
  • Maintain product data, publishing plans, and long-term project documentation.
  • Assist with proposal evaluation, manuscript tracking, and author communications.
  • Partner with Editorial, Design, Production, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Research market trends, product concepts, and potential new acquisitions.
  • Prepare materials for sales forums, presentations, and product development meetings.
  • Ensure strong author and partner relations through timely, professional communication.
  • Help drive efficiency by maintaining systems, processes, and team resources.


Skills and Qualifications Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in publishing, marketing, communications, or project coordination.
  • Knowledge of the Bible, Christian publishing market, and evangelical culture.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort learning internal data systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.
  • A team-oriented, self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Spanish or bilingual communication.
  • Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
