ACT and SAT Test Prep Tutors Needed!

As a Test Prep Tutor, you will be instrumental in guiding students through their preparation for standardized tests such as the PSAT, ACT and SAT. This role requires strong core skills in tutoring, teaching, English, Reading, Writing and math to effectively support students in achieving their academic goals. You will leverage premium skills in learning technology to enhance the tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized or group tutoring sessions for students preparing for standardized tests such as the PSAT, ACT and SAT.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that address students' specific learning needs and goals.
• Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation and confidence.
• Collaborate with parents and educators to track student development and provide feedback.

Tutoring takes place at a local library, student's home, office location or online.

Qualifications:

• College degree
• 2 years' experience tutoring test preparation for the test you want to tutor
• Scored 98%+ on the test you want to tutor (ex: SAT - 1500+; ACT - 34+)
• References
• Background check
• Reliable vehicle

*** Please note that academic tutoring pays $18-$22/hour.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
