A Day in the Life:

The Action Sports Manager is responsible for managing communications and brand support for assigned category athletes. This position will work with athletes, teams, and Monster departments to maximize our return on investment in Action sports athletes, properties and events. This position will participate in selection, contract administration and monitoring of designated athletes and properties. This position will continually keep abreast of the designated sports segments and be prepared to make recommendations for Monster in those segments.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Communicate regularly and effectively with athletes and make sure they are supported with the proper tools to brand themselves properly. This includes making sure the athletes have branded clothing, accessories and product shipments at all times in order to properly represent the brand.
  • Manage Athlete’s social media and work closely with internal and external partners to develop digital
  • Create athlete strategy and make sure they are properly aligned with our brand
  • Planning and setting proper budgets for segment
  • Provide proper guidance on contracts and manage the contracts of athletes in the segments
  • Provide useful and current knowledge and feedback regarding athlete’s performance, personality, style
  • Create a deep connection, commitment and dedication to the brand of all managed athletes in
  • Create and maintain personal relationships within the industry and segment; including other non-Monster Energy relevant athletes.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Travel 40-60%
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal communication skills
  • Graphic Design software capabilities a strong plus
  • Current Social Media proficiency and experience on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram …
  • Experience in media and content generation with athletes and sports properties
  • Service oriented personality and willingness to work unusual hours and weekends
  • In-depth knowledge of sports and industry
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong planning and organization skills

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $64,350 - $85,800. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
