Activities Assistant/Personal Care

It’s a fun place to be and a fun place to work! Ideal candidates will have experience leading activities in senior communities and experience in dementia care. This is an immediate hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Included but not limited to:

• Assist in creative activity programs and encourage member participation
• Serve meals and snacks; assist members requiring help with eating; clear tables
• Actively contribute to creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, bright, and welcoming environment
• Communicate in a positive, courteous, and professional manner with members and their families, co-workers, referral agencies, and the community at large
• Assist members with personal care needs, including but not limited to assisting with walking, transfers, toileting, dressing, and showers
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, equipment, etc. after all programs
• Assist with transition and transport, if required, to and from all activities, meals, and restroom breaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
