Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical Actuarial Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in underwriting and actuarial support within the commercial and property insurance domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python programming, and a solid understanding of actuarial principles applied to insurance pricing, risk evaluation, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the underwriting process through actuarial analysis, risk assessment, and pricing evaluations.
• Analyze commercial and property insurance data to identify trends, loss ratios, and risk factors.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools using Python for automation and reporting.
• Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and data teams to refine pricing strategies.
• Assist in rate filings, reserve analysis, and financial forecasting based on actuarial assumptions.
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards for actuarial documentation and methodologies.

Requirements (skills and qualifications)

• 3–5 years of experience in actuarial science or underwriting in the U.S. commercial or property insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of actuarial techniques and insurance product structures.
• Proficiency in Python for data modeling, statistical analysis, or process automation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and rating methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
