The Mentorship Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be directly mentored by our Founder, Nicole, an alumna of the Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS, formerly PCOM), who has also completed advanced clinical training in China. You will gain firsthand insight into how to blend authentic, high-level clinical practice with a modern, multi-stream holistic business model.

The Role

This is a paid, hybrid apprenticeship based in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for remote work. It is specifically designed for a current Acupuncture/TCM student or recent graduate seeking real-world, paid training in both the clinical side of patient care and the business side of running a successful holistic brand.

Core Responsibilities & Training Areas

• Clinical Observation & Patient Care: Assisting with acupuncture treatments, understanding patient flow, managing scheduling, and learning how to formulate treatment plans under direct supervision.
• Holistic E-Commerce & Retail: Hands-on training in managing online sales channels (Amazon & Etsy) and assisting with the physical product creation process (candle production).
• Digital Marketing & Outreach: Learning how to design online social media marketing campaigns, email outreach strategies, and patient acquisition funnels.
• Practice Operations: Training in inventory control, setting up retail displays, basic bookkeeping, and networking at local small business association events.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student in an accredited Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine program (e.g., PCHS/PCOM or similar) OR hold a valid California Acupuncturist license/certification.
• Superb communication, interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused mindset.
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to learn how to run a private practice.
• Adaptability and willingness to work outside normal business hours/weekends if necessary.

Compensation & Perks

• Pay Range: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour (Part-Time)

• Academic Credit: If you are a current student, we are happy to work directly with your school’s clinical director to complete any necessary "Learning Agreements" so your paid hours can also be applied toward your graduation requirements (such as Practice Management or Independent Study).
