Acute care & clinical hybrid Nurse Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled acute and clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care settings, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment, critical care, and various medical procedures. This role requires a compassionate individual who is motivated and committed to providing high-quality care to patients across diverse populations, including seniors.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, record patient histories, and diagnose acute and chronic health conditions.
• Manage patient care through rounding and clinical visits.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus in cardiology, acute care or equivalent experience.
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers is required.
• 5 years or more experience
• Proficiency with EMR systems for medical documentation and patient management.
• Must have the ability to see 17-30 patients per day.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
