The Office of Human Resources projects pride and enthusiasm in support of the University’s mission and strategic plan by providing leadership, guidance, and administration of classification and compensation, recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee/labor relations in a professional and dedicated manner to the Montana State University Bozeman campus, Agricultural Experiment Stations, and Extension Service.
The ADA and Leave Coordinator is responsible for administering employee requests for workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and managing all leave programs, including FMLA, state leave laws, and MSU leave policies. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies while supporting employees and supervisors through clear communication, education, guidance, and decision-making. This position plays a vital role in supporting Montana State University’s leave and accommodation processes for faculty and staff. This position is also a key member of the Office of Human Resources, providing expert consultation and leadership while delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Director of Employee and Labor Relations, the position will collaborate closely with Human Resources Business Partners, Benefits and Payroll staff, Worker’s Compensation staff, Campus Civil Rights staff, and Legal Counsel to ensure consistent and compliant leave and accommodation practices across the university.
