Position Overview:

As an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at PSI, you will:

• Provide specialized physical education instruction designed to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.

• Adapt and modify physical activities to ensure all students can participate safely and successfully.

• Assess students’ motor skills and create individualized instructional plans.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth and success.

A Day in the Life:

In this role, you’ll work with students in small groups or one-on-one to design engaging physical education experiences that build skills, confidence, and overall well-being. Your creativity and expertise will help make movement fun and accessible for every child.

Qualifications:

• Teaching License with adaptive physical education certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree – Required.

• Prior experience with adaptive physical education or special education preferred.
