Addictions Specialist Reentry Case Manager

We have a full-time position available for a highly self-motivated Addictions Specialist Reentry Case Manager who has a strong knowledge of substance abuse disorders, social service resources, reentry planning, as well as community reintegration and stabilization. This position requires a self-starter who can function effectively independently and in a team environment.

Job Duties:

The Addictions Specialist Reentry Case Manager provides supportive services to incarcerated individuals in recovery at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF), in collaboration with Montgomery County’s Office of Drug and Alcohol and other service providers at MCCF.

This position assists participants with recovery planning to prevent relapse and promote long-term stability. The Case Manager identifies and connects participants to community resources that support their recovery goals, personal interests, and successful reentry.

The Addictions Specialist Reentry Case Manager also educates participants about the criminal justice system and how to navigate it. The role may involve coordination with law enforcement, local courts, reentry partners, and community supervision personnel to support continuity of care.

Applicants must be able to achieve clearance to work at MCCF (i.e. cannot be actively on probation nor parole). A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Requirements:

• BA in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or Related Fields (Master’s preferred)
• Case management experience with high-risk populations and/or individuals with SUD
• Driver's license in good standing and auto insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
