Job Description
The College of Education is seeking qualified people to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Abu Dhabi or Dubai on a part time basis, particularly in the areas of early childhood education, math/science for young learners, emergent literacy, as well as English language development for teachers, social work, school leadership, and special education.
Job Summary
- Applicants must be residents of the United Arab Emirates and must meet the minimum requirements.
- Teaching load each term may vary and is dependent on student enrollment and faculty needs.
- Compensation is based on the number of credit hours taught each term.
The Requirements
- Minimum of a master’s degree in education or a related field from a recognized university. A Ph.D. or Ed.D. is preferred.
- Five or more years’ teaching experience, preferably in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Early Childhood, Social Work, and English Language Learning
- Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken English is required; Bi-lingual speakers preferred.
- The ability to work in diverse cultures is essential. Has successful teaching and/or administrative experience.
- The ability to work in the field as mentors and support to undergraduate and master’s students who will be engaging in practical experience portions of their programs.
